Brittney Broad

Brittney Broad

Brittney has been a part of the Dance Spectrum family since she was 3 years old. After 13 years of inspirational dance training, she is now a passionate, hard working, enthusiastic and fun instructor here at Dance Spectrum. Brittney is a well-rounded dancer and has been conditioned in many subjects including; Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Contemporary and Lyrical. Although Brittney has received most of her training at Dance Spectrum, she has also participated in local and national dance conventions such as New York City Dance Alliance, Jump, Nuvo, and Onstage New York. Over the past 15 years, Brittney believes that she not only grew as a dancer physically, but grew as a young adult mentally and emotionally as well.

Outside of Dance Spectrum, Brittney coached varsity cheerleading and tumbling at John F. Kennedy High School, choreographed a wedding dance, and ran a summer Hip-Hop camp at Mount Mercy. Brittney loves what she does and truly cares about each of her students’ personal success. She says “personal” success because she understands that every child values different things and learns in their own unique ways. Aside from teaching, Brittney is currently attending D’Youville College, studying to become an Occupational Therapist.
